The Travel Wrench was created by the US-American grandmaster Kelly Worden as an effective tool for self-defense. It is based on the Karambit but is also quite similar to the Kubotan. The tool can be used in self-defense to maximize the possibilities of the hand and avoid injuries like fractures. There are techniques for it in Eskrima, Arnis and Kali as well as in Pencak Silat.
